So far we have had
zero-defects on this project.

| The Customer |
| A global leader in conventional
cameras |

| The Project |
| The customer wanted to transfer his entire
production line to benefit from a single-source partner with
productivity and cost advantages. |
| |
| Creating a comprehensive proposal |
We began with a study of the
customer’s manufacturing process, technology,
bill-of-materials, things-gone-wrong, and end-to-end
logistics. Our comprehensive proposal comprising the
transfer schedule, manufacturing customization, resource
deployment and pricing was evaluated against bids from
reputed competitors.
A facility was customized and the shell presented to the customer’s
executives from China. Their team evaluated our strengths
in areas like supply-chain, quality systems, sourcing, business-processes,
strategic planning and human-resources. We won the project. |
| |
| Surpassing customer expectation |
The next challenge was to be
approved in a six-step approval process. We did this in
two months, surpassing customer expectations. We
absorbed the entire vendor-base of the customer, pruned
it to a wieldy number, customized the layout,
internalized camera-technology into our engineering
knowledge-base, integrated the processes into our IT
infrastructure, and trained the operations team.
Mass-production began four weeks after approval. |
