Education & Experience required:
Qualification: NTTF/ GTTC Tool and Die Making or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 02 to 03 years of experience.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Good knowledge in reading, interpreting, and understanding of Engineering drawings.
- Knowledge in MS Excel & SAP activities such as BOM preparation and routing.
- Awareness of aerospace, automotive, ASTM, and ASME Y14.5 standards.
Responsibilities:
- Engineering Drawings: Good knowledge in reading, interpreting, and understanding of Engineering drawings.
- Process Knowledge: Awareness of machining process flow sequences, ensuring alignment with technical requirements.
- Machining Knowledge: Awareness of CNC machining processes like Turning, Milling, Grinding etc.
- GD&T & Instrument selection: Understand GD&T principles and awareness on selection of instruments.
- Fixture & Gauge Design: Awareness of fixture and gauge design to support machining operations.
- SolidWorks: Hands-on experience in 3D modelling and stage modelling using SolidWorks software.
- Process Documentation: Preparation of process documents like stage drawings, 3D models, control plans, process sheets, work instructions to meet customer requirements.
- APQP and QMS Requirements: Understanding of APQP methodology, AS9100 standards, and familiarity with PPAP requirements for aerospace parts.
- ECR Management: Execute Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) effectively to support continuous improvement initiatives.
