Education & Experience required:

Qualification: B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical engineering or related engineering

Experience: Minimum 05 years in Design and Development of Solenoids and Valves

 

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Expertise in following products
  • Solenoid valves and Servo valves for Pneumatic and Hydraulic application
  • Electromechanical products – actuators, Electric motors, Precision mechanisms
  • Expertise in analytical design and CAD design with FEM tools.
  • Experience in creating new designs from scratch, manufacturing, assembly & testing.
  • Working knowledge in CAD : Solid works, Ansys or similar packages
  • Experience in performance and qualification testing of above-mentioned products.
  • Experience in Aerospace, Space and Defence industry.
  • Innovative thinking for new technology developments.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for design and development of electromechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic components and subsystems for Aerospace, Space, and special applications.
  1. Primary products responsible:
    • Solenoid valves for Pneumatic application
    • Servo valves and other precision valves for Pneumatic application
  2. Additional products to involve:
  • Electric motors
  • Electromechanical actuators
  1. Independently Conceptualize, design and detail the components & Sub systems.
  2. Responsible for mechanical & fluid dynamics design using analytical methods and FEA.
  3. Responsible for New Product Development – Proto build, test and qualify.
  4. Responsible to conceptualise the Test method and test rig.
  5. Responsible to lead the team of junior engineers and Technicians.
  6. Additional responsibility:
  • To support process documentation, assembly & test procedures
  • To guide and help development team for technical issues as necessary.
