Education & Experience required:
Qualification: Diploma Mechanical / Electrical
Experience: Minimum 04 to 08 years of relevant experience
Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge of reading of Energy meter, D.G, UPS, Air Compressor, Nitrogen Generation and consumption etc.
- Spares Management: Identity and maintain critical spares, do spares planning & prepare monthly spares consumption against budget. Planning for diesel purchase.
- Good Communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all quality system activities are carried out and documented as per the Plan.
- Maintain and repair of all Utility equipment, Material handling equipment, Office equipment, Blowers, Exhaust systems, GOS etc.
- Daily reading of Energy meter, D.G, UPS, Air Compressor, Nitrogen Generation and consumption etc.
- Distribution of power line wise load calculation to maintain balanced load.
- Monitoring & Ensuring the Power factor to be maintained above 0.90
- Reduction in spares consumption
- Installation and Commissioning of Utility Equipments and estimation, planning & execution of new projects (infrastructure)
- Providing & ensuring all the necessary utility connections to the new equipments, (Power, Water, Air & light)
- Responsible for the entire plant electrical safety & Maintain safety
- Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving Utility maintenance-related problems.
- Initiate and carry out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
- Coordinate activities with HR department for Statutory Requirements of the company.
- Co-ordinate for Liasioning with various government authorities for statutory, regulatory and legal compliance.
- Shut Down Activity: Maintenance of all LT Panels etc.
- Planning for new electrical projects or repairs
Machine Maintenance:
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Setting, programming & maintenance of machines PDC, Compression moulding, Torrid winding machine, Shinig sun, Ovens, tining pots, chemical tinnig pots, gluing machines, pneumatics connections, air supply etc.
- Attend the problems coming in PDC, Compression moulding, Torrid winding, shining sun, ovens, tining pots.
- Preventive Maintenance (Planning and Implementation):
- Study of machine
- Maintenance Planning
- Carryout Preventive Maintenance at right intervals
- Updating Preventive Maintenance records for all machinery
- Breakdown Maintenance:
- Refer Breakdown Slip and observe the nature of problem
- Planning for Breakdown Maintenance
- Carrying out Breakdown Maintenance
- Interacting with service engineers
- Managing downtime
- Breakdown Maintenance slip updating
- Monitoring the working of machines
- Estimating and servicing equipment
- Finding out the root cause. Implementing the corrective action.
- General Maintenance:
- Daily maintenance
- Updating records
- Attending urgent works as per production requirements
- Tools and Spares updating
- Machine and Equipment status updating
- New machine installations:
- Ensure the receipt of new machinery and checking for any damage
- Study operating/ maintenance manuals
- Interact with suppliers for extra information required
- Test the machines as per specifications and safety
- Prepare the Preventive Maintenance instruction / machine installation report
- Opening register for documenting machine history
- Spares Planning & Spare Budgeting:
- List the critical spares
- Identify the different sources of suppliers
- Obtaining quotes and comparison

- Monthly audits of spares
- Programming / Development for productivity improvement:
- Programming for new projects

- Preparing AMP, MMP. Maintaining master list of machines.
- Lay out changes
